On the latest episode of the “Nitty Gritty Dirt Show” on RussosBrand.com, host Billi Bhatti and former WWE writer Vince Russo, discussed how WWE plans to use renown musical recording artist Cardi B during WrestleMania 37, with the rumored plan for her to not only host the event on both nights but for Cardi to be in the corner of Naomi and Lana as well. It’s unclear if this plan will actually be finalized. Wrestling-Edge transcribed Bhatti’s comments below. A Batista WWE WrestleMania return update was recently revealed.
Bhatti: I’ve been sitting on this story for a while but Nick Khan wants to bring Cardi B in and at the moment, these are rumors but she is lined up to the be the host of WrestleMania 37. Whereas Bad Bunny is training to wrestle at WrestleMania 37. However, the original card for WrestleMania 37 had Cardi B as the host and in the corner of Naomi and Lana who are two of the most social media involved people in the company.
Bhatti continued: So they wanted that tie in with Naomi and Cardi B. On both the cards I have for WrestleMania, both of them say that they are hosted by Cardi B and Bad Bunny is wrestling on both.
CM Punk dropped this Edge WrestleMania bombshell not too long ago. WrestleMania 37 is scheduled to take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida from April 10th to April 11th 2021. The event will be the first WrestleMania to take place on NBC Universal’s streaming platform – Peacock.
