There has been speculation online as to why NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks did not appear on the last set of NXT tapings following the NXT Takeover: Unstoppable event.

Bryan Alvarez mentioned on Monday’s episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that the reason she did not appear at the NXT Tapings is because her boyfriend (not named during the show) was hurt in a match during the tapings and had to be taken to the hospital. She went with him and missed out on the tapings.
This was not part of WWE creative and also does not mean WWE will be bringing her up to the main roster anytime soon.
