Backstage News on Plans for the WWE Tag Team Titles, The Shield

– While Triple H and The Undertaker appeared in segments with Kane and Daniel Bryan against The Shield at this week’s WWE TV tapings, word is that neither man will be working the feud right now.

The current plan is for Kane and Daniel Bryan to defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against two members of The Shield, likely at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. It’s expected this is where Kane and Bryan will drop the titles.

  • The Killswitch

Reigns works well as a “man of few words.” He can be naturally intimidating, unlike most guys who just can’t work the mic and try to compensate by using their actions to intimidate.

  • that should happen but they will prob go with Reigns and Rollins in the match at Extreme Rules, can see the finish now, Rollins hits his High Knee move from the top rope onto Kane which makes him groggy then Reigns hits his Spear and 1…..2…..3

  • which is called the “Freebird” rule Pewp…….

If they figure it out, Dean Ambrose is their main mouthpiece, Seth Rollins is their hype man and keep Rollin Reigns away from the mic unless he is dropping a buzzword/catchphrase.

  • Pewp

Or the 3-man rule, where any 2 of the 3 may defend the titles.

  • Liam laidler

hope if the shield win.. they bring back the old tag titles back! never liked the copper Spartacus style

  • Prince

Ambrose and Rollins are the obvious choices. Reigns as the enforcer.

  • D2K

Or they could plateau and get stuck as a tag-team stable. Which isnt bad per-se, but not good for them. Shield needs a mouth piece.

  • Scooter

As long as the shield continued to be pushed right this is a great step forward for the tag division.

  • Sean Kaboni

    or the wolfpac rule

  • it would make sense for this to happen and have The Shield do it under the “freebird” rule, it should be an Extreme Rules match
