– We’ve noted that Rob Van Dam was expected to finish his current WWE run after SummerSlam. Word this weekend was that RVD’s last match could have been against Cesaro last night on the Kickoff pre-show. This is interesting because WWE usually has talents lose on their way out.
It has not been confirmed that RVD won’t work this week’s RAW or SmackDown but the talk going around was that this current run is done and RVD will be back when he’s ready.
