Batista Supports The Rock for US Presidency Campaign in 2020

Dave Bautista was recently stopped at the airport by TMZ and asked his thoughts on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson potentially running for President of the United States in 2020.

The Animal seemed on board and was fairly transparent in his dislike of Donald Trump at the same time:

I’d vote for him. I think he’s a better candidate than f***ing Trump.

I think if Trump can win, anybody can probably win. The Rock could definitely win.

Big Dave was also asked what characteristics Johnson possesses to make him a potential leader of the free world.

He’s just a decent person… decent human being. Good leader, smart.

  • Mister Who

Dave Batista would be a great VP, after all he’s from Washington D.C.

“but at what point does it become a mockery of the position?”

That happened as soon as Trump was elected.

  • MrDr3w

Yes, you did, and then I said that he does.

  • Armitage Soulshroude

    Didn’t I just state that? Trump doesn’t know sh*t!?

  • MrDr3w

Donald Trump doesn’t know about Washington. He doesn’t know the specifics and the nuances associated with certain policies that go with governing and things of that sort, but he definitely knows about politics. He’s been running a major real estate empire for decades. He knows how to be political. What experience does Rocky have running anything? Trump also doesn’t necessarily even need to know about “politics.” That’s what a cabinet is for. That’s what advisors are for.

  • Armitage Soulshroude

Well, he can technically run… he was born as a United States citizen. Even if he doesn’t know sh*t about politics, Trump doesn’t either and look where he stands. I may vote for The Rock if I don’t see anyone else as Competition.

“I think if Trump can win, anybody can probably win.” ….. except Hillary! ayyeeee

  • MrDr3w

“If Trump can win, then anyone could win.” That may be true, but at what point does it become a mockery of the position? Being president isn’t something you do just for fun. You need the experience, and you need to actually be able to do something. Being a powerful businessman, dealing with powerful people, and creating jobs, Trump still has the slight advantage there. If Rock built up some experience, then I definitely could see him having a legitimate shot. He has the popularity and the name recognition. Maybe a few years as a governor and/or senator first though. Also, he’s a republican, so he’d have to wait until at least 2024, unless he decides to run as a third-party candidate.

If Rocky runs for presidency in 2020 somebody should hide Rikishi.
