Here are some highlights of what Big Show recently spoke about during an interview CTPost.com:

Mark Henry: “He has really come into his own and stepped up his level of intensity. When you’re in the ring with him, you feel how powerful he is. I’m not embarrassed to say Mark is stronger than I am. “When I’m in the ring with someone who has a real potential to crush my spine, it increases my intensity level. Mark makes me push myself athletically.”

Dark Match Main Events at TV Tapings: “We do a great job putting out our TV product, but for fans in specific market areas, we like to give them something extra. It’s a reward for people for showing their support and coming out.”

His Career: “I’ve never been that kind of guy to talk about great matches or bad matches. What happened yesterday is what happened yesterday. I’ve worked with some of the biggest names in this business. And yeah, I’ve been around a long time and done a lot of cool things. But I just try to stay humble and keep working hard.”

“I enjoy what I do so much, but I don’t want to celebrate. If I keep my head down keep pushing, maybe nobody will notice I’ve been around so long.”

“To all the idiots who think Big Show can’t wrestle”

    Too… funny… for… words!

  • Matt

To all the idiots who think that big show can’t wrestle:

The guy can wrestle better than you ever will. The guy is close to 500 pounds for god’s sake. It’s a miracle that he is still alive. And despite his weight, his health is better than yours.

you guys give wrestling fans a bad name.

Brodus is big. But he’s no Big Show.

  • Sammo

@venom… Have you missed all the Brodus Clay vignettes over the last few weeks?

I think the Big Show is very talented for his size. He won’t put on great matches like HBK and Bret Hart. The Big Show had a lot of good matches with Undertaker. His feud with Henry is pretty good right now. Let’s face it. When Big Show retires, who is going to be that big man to replace him?

  • Mabry

i think Show does hes job well beeing a giant and all. I cant recall many great show matches either but he isnt or hasnt ever been boring to watch, unlike lets say the Great Khali. Hes done a good job along the years, considering hes size…

I agree, PinkSinCara – Big Show has barely had any memorable matches in two decades. He’s such a waste of space.

His hardcore triple threat at Wrestlemania against Kane and Raven was fun, but only because of its surreal spots, not because of any memorable “wrestling”

I also recall his stretcher match with Brock Lesnar being quite entertaining. But that was about 10 years ago… That’s how difficult it is to recall a “decent” Big Show match.

    @PinkSinCara

I think your forgetting that match he had with Lesner on Smackdown in 02/03 when the real “Suplex from Hell” happened and made the ring colapse.

  • PinkSinCara

I’ve been watching Show since his WCW days. I can’t really think of any match of his that could truly be considered “great”. Maybe his match w/ Hogan for the WCW title. That’s about it
