Bill Goldberg Continues to Shoot Down WWE Return Rumors

– Former WWE & WCW star Bill Goldberg continues to shoot down rumors of a return to WWE on his Twitter. When a follower asked if Triple H would book a match between himself and The Undertaker in the near future, Goldberg replied, “Not a chance in hell.”

When asked about WWE wanting to sign him and Sting, Goldberg stated, “Sting ….maybe. Me? Not likely….”

I hope does come back I think it’ll be to late for him next year but I dnt want to see him wrestle undertaker whoever thought about was stupid I never expect anyone to win against undertaker at wrestlemania especially after hbk couldn’t beat him. He should come back for 3 months have a proper fued with a few people go t wrestlemania retire a month after wrestlemania. Lets not even get started on sting. Sting Said he didn’t join wwe because of the message they send to kids but look at the message they send now and he sill hasn’t joined

    Really Goldberg now in 2013???

I mean thats not a knock, but come on, much like everything every moment has its time. Goldberg was hot sh** in the late 90’s/early 00’s I agree, but 10 years on from his last WWE run?

And most of those guys should stay away too. But the difference is Goldberg’s career was too short and has been out of the game for too long to make a meaningful impact now. Especially if his opponent is Ryback. Neither guy was ever good in the ring and considering Goldberg’s probably ring-rust the match would defiantly stink up the place.

Yes, stack the card! Make it an old-school ‘Mania! Hogan, Warrior, Goldberg, Jake the Snake, Sting….30 years of Wrestlemania.

    You’re welcome.

I think Goldberg is good enough for at least a one-time-only match or short run in WWE, at least from a nostalgia standpoint. Personally, I don’t think his 1 year run with WWE was long enough, and it wasn’t that bad at all. I think it would be interesting to see what Goldberg can do 10 years later, even if it means he just jobs to Ryback.

Goldberg is still younger than Sting, Hogan, Flair, and Warrior, and people still talk about those guys coming back. So why not?

bring in all the old farts.

I am more interest in seeing Sting finally signing with the WWE then I do Goldberg even though for Sting it way past due. But Sting still got a few more match in him and I believe with the right guys he would do well. It may be just a one year run maybe more. But it is long overdue. Oh if only Sting came to WWE in his prime Ric Flair once said how much bigger Sting would have been. Not that Sting didn’t do well on his own. He was one of the reason I become a WCW fan Sting stay with WCW to the bitter end and he did the same with TNA. But his final stop with the WWE is what wrestling fans wants to see. But as far as Goldberg goes who cares.

I bet he is already signed.

Why is everyone so eager to see Bill Goldberg back in the WWE? Has everyone forgotten his last run? And that was 10 years ago. I doubt a middle-aged Goldberg will deliver better results than a young Goldberg.

Obviously they want to sign him. They just released his DVD and they keep commenting on the ‘Goldberg’ chants during Ryback matches. Come on, Bill, you’re not fooling anyone. If you want to swerve people, just don’t even acknowledge the questions. You don’t have to answer every comment on Twitter.
