Despite the fact that there were some speculations about it, the announcement of a Women’s Royal Rumble for the upcoming PPV came as a surprise to many fans.
During a recent interview with Times of India, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair talked about the upcoming bout and revealed her pick to win the match.
Charlotte said that both Becky Lynch and Bayley from their respective brands are her pick to win the upcoming 30 women Battle Royal:
“There are so many. Actually, it is a tough question. I would say from RAW brand, Bayley is a fighter. Anyone who has followed her career would know she never gives up and she is the lovable underdog. From SmackDown, I would have to go with my best friend Becky Lynch, but personally I don’t want to face her at WrestleMania. She has shown that whenever she is knocked down, she gets right up. There are a lot of women in the division who are capable of winning. Sasha could win, Asuka could 100 percent win that.”
Apart from this, Charlotte also talked about her WWE career and said that winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship in her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina is the highlight of her career.
