CM Punk Issues Statement on Twitter About Last Night’s RAW

– CM Punk, who was not at ringside for the walkout, wrote the following on his Twitter account this evening regarding last night’s RAW.

“I think a lot of people are missing the point. Fans and coworkers alike. Walking out is a pussy move. There’s a huge difference in what I did. I want change, and I can’t change shit from my couch. I’m in the fox hole. I’m getting it done. I stayed to fight and I’m fighting for change. You can protest, violently or peacefully without actually showing up. Walking out isn’t a solution at least not one that I’ve ever seen work. Hold ’em up. Make them change. Don’t just walk out, or lay down. Fight. This goes for fans as well. Bored? Don’t like @johncena ? Want more @ZackRyder ? Show up and be heard. Don’t be a pussy and just tweet about it.

I want change, and I’ll stand and fight for it even if I’m alone. Popular or unpopular, I could care less. Take your voting and shove it. Actions speaks louder than words. Except mine. My words are pretty awesome. No think about all that, and hopefully you’ll get it. #fight

Too many tweets from me. Misspellings abound. You CAN’T protest without showing up. I am not Gandhi. I will kick your face. Don’t like HHH as COO? Punch him in the face. I did. It’s wrestling, not the NBA. #fight Next high kick to Johnny “Funkhauser” Ace won’t be an accident.”

I think Nash has been involved in the attacks too.

  • charlie

sorry about miss spelling was typing fast lol

  • charlie

ok guys they didnt walk out cuz there afriad of two guys they walked out cuz nothing under control like henery attacting everyone and there being no sort of order it barley has to do with miz and truth except the fact that anybody can do anything

  • breezy

he said fans show up and be heard… is it me or has the crowd already told vince and wwe they’re tired of cena since 2006

  • Bawb

LOL I TOTALLY called Johnny Ace out on the Funkhauser reference a while back online!!! hahah so true. He IS fucking Super Dave

  • Automattic

Not that I’m over-analyzing it or anything 😛

  • Automattic

I agree that the whole locker room being afraid of only two guys, who have never been built up as unbeatable, super heels, is questionable. I can see them legitimizing it by having most of the Superstars being upset with Triple H for not catering to their every need (such as Christian always wanting “one more match”), and other people getting on board just because they don’t like him. What sort of got me was Lawler and the announcers walking out, when it was Mark Henry that attacked Lawler and Ross. There should’ve been a schism there, not unity.

  • Dave S

And the reason it’s getting good is because WWE is at its best when it mimics what is going on in society at large – protests, hatred and distrust of the rich, economy on verge of collapse – they are milking it and it makes the product very watchable…

  • Dave S

Not sure why everyone isn’t saying what’s already been planned out – this walkout and HHH’s dealing of it will involve the Rock’s return – he’ll take over, until the end of SS, of which he will add himself to Cena’s team. Rock will bring back Mike and Ronnie, and HHH will regain control after SS – first he’ll be on the team opposing them…etc etc

  • bloodstone

im with Devil_Rising the story line sucks 2 guys whipping everybody yeah right now nobody gonna wresle on raw give me a break bunch of pussies yep well said punk

  • Dystre Fjell

And they’ll get their asses handed to them by Super Cena, Uber Orton, Punk and Sheamus, you can bet on that !

  • Food for thought

Now a twist to all this would be that maybe in stead were all thinking its Vince who is going to come out it going to be Stephanie . Now that would be fucked up. And by the way FACT John lorenitus (spelling?) is no longer the VP of talent relations. They brought in someone else.
So it should be interesting to see where this goes. It better than the same old boring shit they had been doing lately so who knows maybe it will be great or in the end we will be like WTF!

  • Tom R.

Vince will return with Nash, Miz, R-Truth and Gail Kim and the group of ‘disgruntled’ guys to take back the WWE from HHH.

  • Rob

Too bad Gail Kim didnt get this message.

  • Sean Mooney

High kick to the Funk man!

  • Whatever

I may not like punk too much but damn he is right

  • CM Mark

Punk has spoken, I would have preferred to hear this speech on tv though and not read about it on Twitter.

  • ThaNooch

Damn Twitter is lame. Yea, I know. I’m saying that as I leave a message on a wrestling news comment section. But still. Twitter is super lame. Like OMG LOL #boots to asses. I understand teenage girls using it to talk about Justin Bieber, but grown men? I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror after sending out a cute, clever little tweet to all my followers.

  • xXx

i lol’d at ‘my words are pretty awesome’

  • Effmenow

LOL now we get twitter rants to help build storylines. oh joy.

  • Devil_Rising

Ummmmmm…….no. This storyline doesn’t make me wonder if it’s a work or not. The FIRST night CM Punk got on the mic and started ripping WWE, right before his contract was up…I wondered if THAT was real or not. But this? Give me a break. The basis for this story, is that TWO GUYS, R Truth and The Miz, are randomly running around attacking folks. TWO GUYS, both of whom were regularly getting their asses kicked for the last few months. And the WHOLE rest of the locker room is afraid of them? The WHOLE rest of the locker-room is afraid they can’t fend off TWO GUYS, if they storm the ring? Please. It’s a shitty storyline, which seems to be losing it’s point.

And it’s only going to end with Vince coming back. We ALL already know that.

  • MJ

This storyline ROCKS! Its making people wonder if its a work or not. WWE is getting AWESOME!

  • Jon

I think this storyline is going to from a wrestling union. Idk if it reality happening or not
