Chris Jericho has not been added to any WWE live events for the summer even though his suspension ends in just a couple of weeks.

Jericho, who was issued a 30 day suspension for kicking the Brazilian flag at a WWE live event in São Paulo on May 24, was originally booked for live events through SummerSlam on August 19th, including the Money In The Bank pay-per-view on July 15th.

As previously reported, WWE currently has Jericho only listed for the WWE SummerSlam event. Jericho’s band Fozzy goes on tour for the Rockstar Uproar Tour in August, which takes place from August 15th through September 30th. One of the tour dates is August 19th, however it has been confirmed that Fozzy will not be performing that night.

Jericho was originally advertised to return in October, and was listed as appearing for the WWE overseas tour which starts in late October. He has since been removed from the overseas tour dates.

The difference with the Jericho issue is that WWE has to be seen to take action over it as there were not only legal ramifications with Jericho being threatened with jail time, but because it could screw up any possibility of WWE returning to Brazil if they were not seen to take a hardline on the incident.
Yeah, I agree that its a load of bollocks as it was just a flag and just a way to get his character over, but facts is facts. If something is illegal in Brazil and one of WWE’s performers breaks that law, you have to see why WWE would take action to try to appease the authorities out there.

“Jericho, who was issued a 30 day suspension for kicking the Brazilian flag ”

Just reading that sounds so ridiculous simply because it’s not a storyline. If it had happened on Raw, I don’t think any of us would believe it was legit.

Both Punk and Jericho both had apologized for what they had done, and it should have ended there.

As for Jericho, I really hope he’s at Summerslam, and I really hope that he’s back soon.

CM Punk was defending equality. What Jericho did was illegal and disrespectfull. I agree that he shouldn’t have been suspended, but to say Punk should have been punished is crazy,

Jeritroll should use X-Pac’s theme when he returns.

  • Jericho Doesn’t Care

I doubt Jericho actually cares, for him it’s a chance for another break from WWE while he tries to do his thing with Fozzy.

It really is sad how some wrestlers don’t get in shit for saying stuff like what CM Punk said online, telling somebody to Kill themselves, but when a main event superstar is just TRYING to make his character seem real, and entertainning, and is basically doing his job, he gets it trouble. A public apology in my mind, would have been good enough.
