– TNA’s new Championship rankings system has been announced, per Eric Bischoff. A “Championship Committee” has been formed consisting of Dixie Carter, Bischoff and Hulk Hogan. Fans will be able to vote on TNA’s website on who they think should receive a TNA title shot.
The fans votes, along with the votes of the Committee will determine the Top 10 Contender rankings monthly and who gets shots at the TNA World Title.
TNA says that the rankings will be determined by “a combination of weighted factors. These factors include individual wrestler career performance, won/loss record and online fan voting.”
Each monthly ranking will be announced on iMPACT the day after a monthly pay-per-view event. The first Top 10 Contender rankings will be announced on May 17th, the night after Sacrifice.
