– Newsday has obtained the police report regarding Reid Flair’s death.
It was noted that Ric Flair called police for help after finding Reid in a Charlotte hotel room. The 911 call came in at 10:35am and Reid was pronounced dead by medics at 10:40am.
The police report lists the time of incident from 1:30am to 10:35am Friday. “Drugs” is the only word listed under the “incapacity types” category for Reid. Ric Flair is listed as the “reporting person” under his real name., Richard Morgan Fliehr.
Reid’s case was assigned Monday to a homicide detective but foul play is not suspected.
– Flair’s agent sent out the following details for Reid’s funeral:
“On behalf of Ric and his family, thank you for your love, concern, and support this week.
Reid’s funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 3 at Forest Hill Church (7224 Park Road Charlotte, NC 28210). The funeral will be open to family and friends who wish to pay their respects. (No photos or videos will be allowed and ample security will be present.)
The burial following the ceremony will be private for family members only.
Please send cards, memorial donations, condolences, flowers, care packages, etc. to the Legacy Talent offices as we see Ric daily and will ensure he receives every delivery. All Memorial Donations will be given to PAL (Police Athletic League) in Reid’s name:
