Early Word on Sacrifice Buys, Details on Tony Nese’s TNA Departure, Tonight’s Impact

– Matches for tonight’s episode of TNA Impact Wrestling include Rob Van Dam vs. Gunner, Devon vs. Garett Bischoff, Gail Kim & Madison Rayne vs. ODB & Eric Young, Joey Ryan vs. Austin Aries and Bobby Roode vs. AJ Styles in the main event.

– According to early estimates, TNA’s Sacrifice pay-per-view did around 8,000 to 9,000 buys. TNA put the pay-per-view up on YouTube after it was over as an experiment to see if they could make additional revenue, similar to what WWE has been doing lately.

– We noted before that Anthony Nese was released from his TNA contract recently. It was Nese’s decision to leave the company. He asked permission to work a June 1st internet pay-per-view event for the PWS promotion where he would have teamed with Sami Callihan against The Great Muta and Kai. TNA turned down his request so he asked for his release and they granted it.

Prince TNA and Youtube have been working together since 2008. Nothing new to see here.

Why don’t you grow up and learn to debate without calling other posters names.

Yeah hate on Gail Kim who is by far the best female worker in the business and by herself owns all of the Divas of the WWE.

  • Prince albert

@ chris the faggot, they have 20 times more money then WWE but they cant afford a fuckin hotel bill, they’re always paying wrestlers late. yep tonnes of money, you’re a fuckin champion. haha

  • Prince albert

@ chris the faggot.. if you could read… before it said TNA put the fkn PPV on Youtube.. exactly the same as WWE. UNDERSTAND FAGGOT?

    good now fuck off.

  • Prince albert

When the buys are 10,000 ( sooo funny ) 1,000 is alot.. i’m sure they can round it closer to 250buys,

everytime i read gail kim i stop reading. i hate slit eyes

How the hell are TNA copying WWE? WWE just broke the law big time buddy, they stole private information on all TNA business.

Why should TNA pay for a talent that is causing problems for a hotal that TNA does a lot of business with. Fuck Flair, go back to the WWE.

PS: Panda which owns TNA had at least 20 times the amount of money that the entire WWE business has.

  • Prince albert

@SYM TNA has no money, they couldn’t even pay Flairs hotel bill. They’re copying WWE again. Pathetic

@Andrew because unlike ROH & those other Companies TNA has the Money and is shown in every state in the US.

  • Andrew

Why doesn’t TNA just to tge iPPVs like ROH, and other independent promotions do? it seems to work well for them.

It was a pretty good ppv from what i hear i will probably watch it on youtube. Its kind of sad they only got 9,000 buys at most. They have to change things because i cant see them continuing to go with out getting more then that because i doubt they even break even for the cost of the ppv.

Joey Ryan wrestles out of NWA Championship Wrestling From Hollywood. And He was one half of a tag team that held the NWA world tag team titles after 3D were stripped of those titles. He also used to wrestle for Ring of Honor wrestling and his finisher is the Martinis.

Sacrifice was awesome, and so was last weeks Impact.

Not sure about this week’s show, though, outside the main event. Styles vs. Roode will be good, but you know the ending will be interference with Daniels. I don’t think I know who Joey Ryan is, but Aries being in action is good enough for me. Eric Young kills me, but the beginning of the card doesn’t look so hot.

I’d stopped watching Impact for a month or so, until just before the PPV, but the last few shows have me optimistic, so I’ll probably check it out.

Yeah people Missed a Great PPV, the best one for TNA in recent years.
