Edge Congratulates Trish Stratus, Ziggler’s Backup Career Plan, More

– Dolph Ziggler reveals in an interview with LifeHacker.com that he spends his time on planes reading and writing in case his WWE career doesn’t pan out.

“That was a deal I made with my parents and myself: I’m going to have a degree, a possibility for a job if WWE doesn’t work out,” Ziggler said. “I want it to work out, I’ve trained my whole life for it to work out, but you never know. So I had a backup plan.”

– As noted earlier, NXT star Gavin Reid was released from his WWE developmental deal sometime last week. Reid’s profile has been removed from the roster section of the official NXT website.

– Edge recently noted on Twitter he was proud of Trish Stratus, writing, “Just heard about my fellow T.O. Canucklehead @trishstratuscom goin in WWE HOF this year. Very proud of ya. Sully’s gym represent!”
