Former Impact star hypes his NXT stable

Gunner coming to NXT

During his time in Impact Wrestling, Gunner, now known as Jaxson Ryker in NXT, was always on the cusp of the top of the card. Feuding with the likes of James Storm, Bobby Roode, Mr. Anderson, even Sting and Kurt Angle, he was always close to the main event, but could never break through.

Ryker, however, believes he’s found his shot to the top in NXT. He’s been teaming with the Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake) for the past few months, and the three men have formed the stable Faces of Fear. Ryker took to Instagram to hype up the group, claiming that they would soon take over.

Will the Faces of Fear rise to the top of the WWE’s developmental brand in the coming year? Only time will tell.

I could be wrong, but weren’t Meng and The Barbarian “The Faces of Fear”? Oh I forgot, that was back in WCW and Triple H and Vince HATES WCW.

Remember when Bray Wyatt was the “New face of fear” … that went well.
And then there as Sanity … that went well.

Well I say it went well .. in NXT. Not so well on the big stage.

Oooh, gimmicky. I tremble with “fear”. Chummer, if the script writers like it, your performance and charisma… in ring and mic skills, then your a shoe in. Just be careful being called up to the main roster, the WWE loves to bury talent.
