Ever since his appearance at Royal Rumble earlier this year, there have been reports of Rey Mysterio talking to the company for a longer return and rumors of when it might happen.
We noted before how a latest rumors suggested that the company was considering bringing him back at WrestleMania and be the surprise partner of Braun Strowman.
During the latest episode of Showtime’s BELOW THE BELT, Mysterio was indirectly asked about these rumors when the host asked about his status for the Show Of Shows.
Replying to it, the Master Of 619 said that he won’t be appearing at the Grandest Stage Of Them all due to the injury he suffered recently and hopefully get back in the ring sometime later in the month:
“Unfortunately, I just suffered a torn bicep three weeks ago. Opted not to get surgery. It’s a full tear but I’m just gonna kick back, do some therapy for it and hopefully I’ll be ready next month.”
