Goldberg Has Words for Triple H, Comments on a WWE Return

– A fan on Twitter asked former WCW and WWE star Bill Goldberg if he could spear anyone in WWE, who would it be? Goldberg replied and said Triple H:

“Hunter…..hands down…..RT”

The fan replied with the following tweet and Goldberg said his observation was “spot on”:

“any particular reason or just the overall doucheness and politicking he exhibits?”

Another fan asked Goldberg when he would be coming back to WWE. He replied, “When they learn how to run a business.”

Finally, a fan asked Goldberg if he would come back to WWE and feud with Ryback. The former World Heavyweight Champion replied, “…..if they knew how to do business I’d consider it…..”

Wow… Good one, did you have to search the Internet for that, or are you too stupid for that also?!

  • Tracy Durham

WOW! Don’t you have a pooh bear you need to go play with?

To be honest I just feel it was bad timing for Goldberg in WWE. Lets face it… The rock was walking thru the door ready to leave, Austin was broken and only doing special ref/guest spots and Lesner was on the way out of the company also… If instead of sitting on his ass getting money from Timewarner Goldberg would of been amazing to return during the WCW/ECW v WWE story line. Its not WWE’s fault that it was at the end of an era when Goldberg decided to get off his ass and earn some money.

WWE is no where near what they were, there not going out of business but there getting dam close. There ratings are down, movies sent making shit and there being publicly put down all the time. Wrestling is nothing like it used to e and never will, they constantly misuse talent, let druggies and alcoholics wrestle with no repercussions even when there wing arrested and there force feeding one guy everyday to so many fans. So don’t tell me there this monument company bc there not anymore. This isn’t 1999 and wrestling is getting lower and lower especially at wrestlemania, there hasn’t been a good match at WM in years and years, other than taker vs HBK, Goldberg is still getting a shit ton of money from Espn and the speed channel for his tv shows he had, he’s not making billions but he’s still making money. Goldberg will never be the best wrestler but he’s a great business man and anybody that hates him is jealous of that and Cena is just as bad the only difference is Cena loves that business. So don’t act like you kno a lot

    How is Triple H a crybaby….

  • Kristopher Robinson

True, but mick foley could never of drawn money like Goldberg could and that’s a fact. He didn’t need to be the top guy in WWE but had the right I expect better. WWE could have made so much more of him but instead it seemed like they had to prove a point and bury him. WWE just didn’t screwed up with him just like try screwed up with Ryback.

You don’t understand, Goldberg came into WWE expecting to be the biggest guy around, to be the main event on everything and do it all his way (like he did in WCW). You cant honestly expect WWE to just go “hey this guys brand new to our company, lets give him everything he wants” that’s just stupid business. Goldberg got a big ego from WCW and even today thinks hes the best there is/was… when in reality hes just a guy that can lift and spear, cant talk on the mic and is all round to serious and no fun, not entertaining (which is what WWE wanted/want).
And before you start to complain saying “hes a wrestler he doesnt need to be entertaining”… remember Mick Foley… 100x better than goldberg and thats just fact.

I’ve watched wrestling (WWE, WCW, NWA, TNA, and ROH) for the better part of the last 20 years and over that time i’ve seen a lot of wrestlers come and go. Bill Goldberg as well as Triple H and Brock Lesnar are the biggest cry babies of pro wrestling. Just look at Brock Lesnars match with Goldberg at Wrestlemania that was the worst match in WWE Wrestlemania History. That was there last WWE match (Brock did return years later but only to wrestle 2 matches a year). Goldberg is a wrestler like Hulk Hogan all about the money. Brock and Triple H and hell even though I liked him when he wrestled for WWE full time The Rock are all about the money.

  • Scott Davies

WWE is a multi-Million Dollar company that is a publicly traded company. WWE is not going anywhere. Anybody who thinks WWE is going out of business does not know what they are talking about. What has Goldberg done since leaving Wrestling to even be relevant. A big fat nothing.

  • Kristopher Robinson

Big shows first match he won the wCw title…. Why does Brock’s amatuer record matter? Are you saying any amateur wrestler can easily become a professional wrestler…. Batista and Orton weren’t even on the main roster for 6 months before they became part f evolution and according to both there DVDs, they both were immediately excepted into OVW with no prior experience…. Yes and have you seen any of the Warriors indie matches?! They suck worse than his WWF matches, so why give him a contract… So it seems you have no real knowledge of wrestling history…

  • CC

Do you even know what you are talking about? Big Show spent years in WCW before going to WWE. Brock was an amateur wrestler for years, went to development, then came up to the main roster. Batista and Randy were both dev talent as well, and spent their first few years at the lower ranks and supporting others like HHH (and hell, Batista played second fiddle to Devon Dudley initially).
Ultimate Warrior also spent years in the indies (teaming with the likes of Sting). You should check your facts first mate.

  • Kristopher Robinson

Brok leaner didn’t pay any dues, neither did big show, Batista, randy Orton, Ultimate Warrior…. So that whole paying dues thing is complete b.s., is wCw Goldberg was their SCSA, WWE is a shadow of what it once was. He’s talking about it the same way Batista talks about returning. It’s just not the company they love. And I guarantee you Goldberg still gets fat check from somewhere.

  • Kristopher Robinson

Wwe has been declining in success for years now…

  • Centurypromotion

Bill Goldberg didn’t pay no dues he came at a time when WCW would take anything from wwe or their training facility and make them top face or heel he was often compared to Steve Austin (because of the look) he talk b.s’about wwe and tna but they are still up and running wcw past away over 10 years this cat is mad because he is not getting a fat paycheck and because he is getting old im about to lose even more respect to wrestlers who think like him.Im an old school guy and trust me this dude didn’t pay is dues he was lucky at a right time.He was a very succesfull character but he ain’t a legend yet pave your way into hall of fame Bill !!!

  • Shawn Bronald

WWE is one of the most successful business models in the past 50 years. What is he talking about? Oh… that’s right… I forgot that the Goldberg brand is so successful.

  • Jason Lentini

WWE doesnt know how to run a business ? They’ve been around how many years ? Hmmm like WCW did all that well ? Oh wait that’s right WWF bought them and well Goldberg didn’t mind the fat paychecks during his WWE tenure.
