- WWE posted this video of Antonio Cesaro hitting the Cesaro Swing on The Great Khali at Battleground last night:

Cesaro commented after the match:

“Super sized #CesaroSwing for the win @wwe #WWEBattleground #throwback #WeThePeople”

- After WWE Battleground went off the air, referees checked on Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton until they both got up. Bryan hit a flying knee on Orton to end it.

There were lots of “refund” and “bullshit” chants inside the arena and then as fans made their way out of the arena. Fans in attendance noted that it was a very gloomy exit from the arena and that nobody was buying merchandise or being excited.

    ah, ok

  • The Killswitch

I removed more recent comments which continued the bickering.

  • millerj265

It was more towards me and that jeff guy, I made him look like a tool a bunch and he was getting all butt hurt.

  • ddfindl

    That was six days ago.

  • The Killswitch

Alright, enough bragging about wages. Since it seems to be quite a touchy subject, even though it shouldn’t be.

  • The Killswitch

I never said they’re entitled to a refund, unless of course who they advertise is missing from the final card (injury, suspension, absense, etc) or other specific reasons. However, I believe in constructive criticism, and people have the right to voice their concerns.

  • ddfindl

If they don’t know what to expect by now, that’s their problem. WWE puts out 3-star ppvs pretty consistently; no more, no less. I don’t always agree with the decisions they make, but asking for a refund is pointless.

  • The Killswitch

Concerning those watching Raw/Smackdown on their TV at home, I can understand your standpoint. But when you pay $50 to buy a show, I say you’re entitled to whatever opinion you choose. Those people are the ones who feed this industry. The ones who buy tickets, PPVs, and merchandise.

  • ddfindl

People piss and moan all the time about wrestling, its annoying.

  • The Killswitch

Not necessarily, but they have a right to feel cheated or not.

  • ddfindl

So if anyone in the audience doesn’t see exactly what the want, they should get a refund? lol

  • The Killswitch

    Back on topic please.

  • The Killswitch

He makes justified points. There were a lot of paying customers who were unhappy with the product they came to see. Of course, the other side of the coin is that you never know what exactly you’re going to get.

  • ddfindl

Let me know when you get a degree and make $20+ like me

  • Jeff N

    thanks I will

  • ddfindl

Oh boy! Aim for the stars, champ! XD

  • ddfindl

Oh man haha you sure showed me XD

  • disqus_G36zPgPxbl

Wow! Terrible ppv! They had 1 good match with the rhodes family n that was it! The ending was awful! I expected a screw job finish but not a no winner, especially on a ppv! I agree there should be refunds of some kind!
HHH if your ppv looks worse than the worst raw maybe u should change some things! Just sayin!!

  • Mike Wells

Great opening hardcore match. Cesaro swing was worth it alone. Rhodes’ match was awesome. Wyatt continues to grow (Exorcist thing was well weird!). Awful ending overshadowed that for some, but to say it was a bad PPV is bull.

  • the v

I agree. What i dont understand is why wwe have a randy/brian match at a ppv then again for free on raw the next night. People, aswell stop paying for ppvs because theyre gonna see the same match up again the folowing night on raw.

  • ddfindl

Nah, pretty much every match was quality, you’re just a stereotypical, cynical wrestling fan

  • ddfindl

Are you seriously having an aneurysm right now over a wrestling ppv? lmao

  • ANTSFSOLDIER

    I agree with you

  • ANTSFSOLDIER

I had no problem with the finish, big shows been fed up for weeks and he knocked everyone out, that plays into the storyline, get over it

  • ANTSFSOLDIER

Dude noone told you to pay for the ppv that was your choice, the ppvs I buy are wrestlemania, royal rumble, and summerslam, thats it, we already knew the wwe title wasnt gonna be decided at battleground so whats the big deal

  • Rob ‘Richard Hammond’ Picken

Remember when PPV’s used to actually be worth watching??

  • http://retrorevelations.blogspot.com/ Jesse Moak

Sorry, but I watched the entire PPV, and it was hardly “gold”. Unless wrestling fan standards have fallen that low. The Rhodes/Shield match was the match of the night. R-Truth/Axel was solid. The rest of it? Not really.

  • http://retrorevelations.blogspot.com/ Jesse Moak

Hey genius, the fans can complain about whatever the fuck the want. Know why? Because they weren’t sitting behind a keyboard, they actually paid real money and went to a LIVE show. Have you ever done that? I have, many times over. I’ve given plenty of money to WWE over the years, and been to many live events, including a PPV. When you pay money, as a fan, you have a right to say whatever the fuck you want about what you just saw. They wanted a refund because that was a 100% bullshit finish. That’s the crappy ending to a an episode of Raw, not a PPV World Title match. You don’t insult your fans like that, and WWE did.

  • http://retrorevelations.blogspot.com/ Jesse Moak

Well no shit, that’s what you get when your PPVs are no better quality than your average episode of Raw. And yes, the finish was total bullshit….you don’t end a PPV that people are paying their hard earned money for with garbage like that.

  • Jeff N

the ppv sounded just like how regular tv show would be

  • d_pooch

Just kind of surprised that they let it end that way considering the outcome of the last PPV/RAW with Bryan being stripped and fans being upset. Maybe they think somehow leaving the title vacant is more exciting. Or perhaps it has something to do with Cena being gone…?

  • ddfindl

The entire rest of the ppv was gold. They’re seriously complaining about the ending of one match that anyone could tell was going to end in shenanigans to continue the feud. Bunch of cry babies.

  • jay are

the storyline orton vs bryan is played out!! hhh needs to take his wfe and go home!!! vnce was better than them 2 on his worst da. also big show crying is stupid no meaning. sorry to say I grew up watching wrestling but the show is over someone turn off the titantron please!!!!

  • JohnCena33

The power outage only lasted for about 5 – 8 minutes. Nothing was missed, just the same old video package hyping Orton vs Bryan, so I would assume it was the bad ending of the match since there wasn’t even a winner.

  • Jeff Wurtz

I don’t know if it’s the crappy ending or the power outage.

  • sheldon

omg how much are the wwe fans marks complaining they want refunds ohh my its the storylines ffs

  • JohnCena33

Well when you have a lot of BS endings to matches instead of a clean cut win fans would be upset.

  • JohnCena33

That Cesaro swing on Khali was amazing!
