Hart Not Happy with Last Role, Backstage News on HBK and Taker

– WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is considered a lock for tonight’s RAW 20th anniversary show. WWE officials really wanted him there because he was the Intercontinental Champion on the very first episode. Michaels is also from Texas so he will get the big local pop.

– Another star from Texas who is expected tonight is The Undertaker. It is confirmed that he will be wrestling at WrestleMania 29 and his most likely opponent is CM Punk. We may see the beginning of that feud tonight on RAW.

– As noted before, Bret Hart was contacted about tonight’s RAW anniversary show but told officials he only wanted to come back if they really had something for him to do. A source confirms that Bret was very upset that they brought him into the RAW 1000 show for what ended up being just a small ringside appearance.

It makes sense. He feels that having legends and hall of famers on the show for a one-time appearance is a waste of a time slot, and does nothing except provide nostalgia. While this isn’t a bad thing, The same handful of legends making appearances frequently wears a bit thin. A positive role they could be doing, as Ricky Steamboat seems to be doing himself, is putting over talent or introducing new superstars.

I hope we don’t see the beginning of the CM PUNK/Taker feud on Raw. It’ll detract away from his feud with The Rock. If they are gonna have him on TV pre-Royal Rumble then I suggest that they announce that he will be a participant in the Royal Rumble one last time.

This way, even if Punk is victorious over The Rock at the Rumble, if Taker wins the Rumble then we know the that Punk will face Taker at Wrestlemania and the match build-up and begin from there on a clean stale.

whilst I like Bret a lot feel hes gone a bit over the top here. Hes made up with the WWE now along with HBK and Vince, no point in spoiling it
