- In an interview with Men’s Fitness, Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman revealed a piece of advice he was given by The Rock to put on lean muscle…

“He told me that if in a six-month period you want to put on 25 pounds of lean muscle and not fat, eat natural and eat 6,000 calories a day. There were times when I would literally eat with the mind set of working out. ‘One more mouthful, one more, come on, come on, you’ve got to finish this meal!’”

Yeah, Hugh Jackman likely did test and w/e else to get in the shape he’s in b/c celebrities have time constraints for movies and don’t have anyone telling them they can’t take it like athletes do. Someone as big as the Rock telling someone “Yeah, just eat 6,000 cal. a day” would be like him saying, “Want big pecs/triceps? Just bench 500lbs.!” – it just doesn’t work like that.

Yeah I hate this idea that eating is all that matters, the worst is guys who do courses of steroids assuming they’ll automatically get an awesome physique with them and then wonder how they got so fat.

That’s really horrible advice for anyone that isn’t completely destroying themselves in the gym with a ton of muscle already. It might work for the Rock, but the average Joe is going to blow-up, and not in a good way. Protip: DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET FAT AS HELL.
