– TNA announced their television debut in Japan.

TNA IMPACT WRESTLING is set to air in Japan for the first time ever, thanks to an agreement between TNA and Nippon Television Network Corporation (NTV).

Episodes of TNA IMPACT WRESTLING now air at 7.30pm every Saturday night on NTV channel G+. TNA’s PPV events will also be broadcast monthly on the channel.

G+ can be found on various cable networks across Japan, as well as the satellite platform SkyPerfecTV.

The deal means that wrestling legends including Hulk Hogan, Sting, Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy will return to screens in Japan, alongside homegrown TNA superstars such as Bobby Roode, James Storm, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian.

TNA Executive Vice President, Andy Barton, said: “TNA IMPACT WRESTLING continues to build partnerships with the best broadcasters around the world.

“This agreement with Nippon Television’s G+ will allow TNA to deliver its exciting brand of professional wrestling to our ever growing Japanese fanbase.

“The history of wrestling in Japan is very long and very rich and everyone at TNA is thrilled that we’re now a full part of it.”
