Jonathan Brookins Feels The Pressure As The New Ultimate Fighter

Jonathan Brookins definitely left Vegas feeling like a winner as he became the season 12 winner of The Ultimate Fighter on Saturday at The Pearls at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada after defeating lightweight Michael Johnson.

“It’s a crazy journey. Everything’s a learning process. Each time, I don’t want to be my hardest critic but I just see so much that I have to improve on in order to really be competitive in this game. I’m kind of just getting by, it feels like, in a sense.” Brookins said of his victory as the new TUF.

Brookins, now employed by the world’s largest and most viable fighting promotion explained, “I feel like there is a little bit more pressure slightly now to really step up and to really perform. I think that’s just where my sights are set now, to really play the part, to really improve in the areas that are necessary in order to be a competitive factor in the UFC.”

Gracie Barra promises UFC fans the suddenly crowded lightweight division of the UFC has only had a taste of Brookins’ action.
