- WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated his Q&A section once again this week on JrsBarBq.com. Here are some highlights:

How long it takes to get the arena ready for Raw or SmackDown: Depends on the load in time but generally they load in a normal TV shoot EARLY in the morning of the show and work right up until the show starts so I’d estimate 12-14 hours.

Thoughts on WWE booking Alberto Del Rio 12 times during 2013 in World Heavyweight Title pay-per-view matches: New is good. I doubt that any one has mentioned that factoid.

WWE booking CM Punk & Daniel Bryan vs Luke Harper & Eric Rowan at Survivor Series instead of booking The Shield vs. The Wyatts: I quit trying to follow the logic of most TV wrestling creative. I just watch and try to enjoy what I see. I have no answer for you. Sorry.

Meeting Bobby Heenan for the first time in WWE: Connected with him immediately. We had natural chemistry and I played off his amazing comedic talent and timing. Yes, we talked occasionally while he was in WCW but cell phones weren’t as popular then. He’s the best all around performer ever.

The Shield face turn is coming an watch how popular they will become. I think all 3 guys are the future of the WWE.

I understand what you mean but sometimes I wish wrestling in the US would break away from the constant “face vs. heel” condition. The Japanese don’t mind doing it. They’ll put a heel against a heel and let the fans cheer the action in the ring. It would also stop all the switching back and forth for the sake of fresh feuds and a balanced roster.

This is actually a really good build up. Shield being Jealous and not being the “lap dogs of justice” Trying to best the Wyatts. More and more Bloodshed just to prove whos bigger and better.

  • ddfindl

well, tweener…however you want to spin it

  • The Killswitch

Ugh, a face Ambrose? I dunno if I’m ready for that.

I agree, Survivor should of been a 6on6 wyatts/sheild vs Punk/Bryan/Usos/Rhodes. With Wyatts left standing , slowly have the Authority turn to the Wyatts for help rather than the Sheild. Let it come to a head during the Rumble; a la New Nexus v Corre. With it being settled at Mania with Wyatts v Sheild (now tweeners) as the mid card climax to THE AUTHORITY STORY we’ve been told there building to

  • Tim

They should have done the 6 on 6 match with Punk, Bryan, Rhodes Family and Usos versus Shield and Wyatts.

  • JAckh45

Yes something starting from now and leading to WM would be great… not something 2 weeks of story for shitty Survivor Series.

  • ddfindl

Shield should turn face and fight the Wyatts @ WM30

  • Jason Lentini

The Brain was awesome and those days with managers need to make a comeback

  • JAckh45

Right now there is no reason why the Wyatts would face the Shield.
No story behind it, nothing to hype it up. So that’s why its not on the card.
Not hard to think of that JR…
Plus it would mean turning one of the factions face… having 2 heels fighting eachother isn’t really the best. The crowd have no one to cheer for.
Sure the match will be huge but the Wyatts need to prove themselves more if we are to believe they are on the level of the Shield.
Get them to beat up Punk and Bryan and you’ll start to build up the family.
