– WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view in Los Angeles is close to being sold out and will be by the day of the show. However, ticket sales for RAW the next night in Los Angeles have been slow.
– Edge had last weekend off from WWE live events so he could attend the wedding of former WWE stars Nick “Kizarny” Cvjetkovich and Stacy “The Kat” Carter. Edge, Christian and Cvjetkovich all grew up together in Ontario and started their careers together. Christian didn’t have the weekend off because he was on tour in Australia.
– One of the reasons that WWE put the World Heavyweight Title on Kane is because they wanted his feud with The Undertaker to be a title program. Another reason is that Kane has been with the company so long and nobody knows how much longer he will be there, considering his age. There has been talk of Kane retiring but it’s not something that’s expected to happen soon.
