Latest on Miami Hosting WM, Tonight’s WWE Tapings, Steamboat

– WWE will tape this week’s SmackDown and the premiere of NXT season 2 tonight from the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa Bay, Florida. No matches have been announced for either show yet but it will be interesting to see what happens at WWE’s tapings this week after last night’s NXT invasion on RAW.

– Officials from Miami, Florida are pushing to bring WrestleMania to the city in 2012. WrestleMania itself would be held at the Sun Life Stadium while Fan Axxess would be held at the Miami Beach Convention Center with the Hall of Fame and RAW that week being held at the American Airlines Arena. The Sun Life Stadium can hold around 70,000 fans.

– WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat has been working in WWE developmental as a trainer this past week. WWE is still looking for another trainer to work at FCW. Dennis Condrey of Midnight Express fame worked a tryout as a trainer recently but word is that he wasn’t hired.
