- Should the Hulk Hogan be unable to compete alongside John Cena at WrestleMania XXX, John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt is being discussed. That match will be the main event.

Vince McMahon recently stated to the writers and producers that “Cena is the main event until his time is clearly up. That man feeds us!”

I agree that the man who is champ should be the GUY and the focus of the show, but its not just Cena. Austin was always the main event back in the peak of the Austin era. I remember a lot of wwe ppvs where Rock was the Champ but Austin was the main event because he was who ppl paid to see, even at rocks first ppv as champ which was named after him Rock bottom he defended the belt against mankind but Austin vs taker in a buried alive match was the main event, so being the champ only makes you the Man in wwes eyes if you were already the man before winning it, I think that’s stupid and you shouldn’t give the belt to anyone unless your ready to push them as the top heel or baby face but unfortunately that’s not how wwe does things.

It’s hard to say, mostly because we’ve seen quite a few guys win over Cena, but who has it catapulted their career? You have guys like Punk and DB who are better talents, but even when they’re champ, Cena is still bigger and I believe that to e the main problem. Bc now it’s not who is the champ that matters, it’s more who gets to possibly wrestler Cena and most likely loose. Even guys like HBK, Austin and The Rock were never made bigger than that title, but Cena is made bigger than the entire company and that’s wrong IMO, bc then you have all those talents that don’t try and aren’t as passionate like they where in the attitude era.

  • The Killswitch

Just a thought, would it mean more for Bryan to win over Cena or a midcard talent?

  • mikhailhoti

Zero Valid point? are you retarded or just cant read? “When did Hulk Hogan in his wwf lay down for Junkyard Dog? and Junkyard Dog was Mid-wrestling LEGEND and world champion. When did Hulk Hogan lay down for Razor Ramon?. John Cena lay down in the time he was becoming a STAR, when he was a U. S Champ, He lay down for Carlito.. He gave Edge his long deserved WWE title win. He gave Sheamus a WWE title run sooo QUICKLY. John cena recently put over Cesaro in Germany. He put Miz over in his wwe title feud!, He also Launched Wade career and lost to him. S”

“Bro” these are THEIR OWN CHOICES to be greedy or not… BUT THEY ALL WORK FOR VINCE,

  • Kristopher Robinson

Look at Brock Lesnar, the guy put down this sport once he left and now he has a $5 million dollar contract and only has to work what 90 days total lol

  • Kristopher Robinson

But Austin, Triple H, HBK, CM Punk, Bret Hart, Hogan and many others can, but the “Hand That Feeds Us All” can’t…. Seems sketchy to me bro lol

  • Kristopher Robinson

You have zero valid points man!!

  • mikhailhoti

what do you mean step aside. Vince is the fuckn boss. Cena works for him. Vince says jump, you better jump or you have no job. So its NOT Cena’s RIGHT to step aside for anyone till Vince tells him too…

  • mikhailhoti

I just wrote a paragraph about it and if you still dont agree. Sir, You know nothing and are a complete waste in the wrestling world.

  • Kristopher Robinson

He only does that for cheap cheers. If he cares so much for these guys he’d step aside and give them title shots and maybe go for an IC title or something.

  • Kristopher Robinson

And it did what for who?!?!

  • mikhailhoti

Either way, Point being Cena and the fact he did lay down when he had too.

  • Kristopher Robinson

That’s where I will disagree again. Punk is this generations Bret Hart, DB would be more of an HBK. Mainly due to the fact that Hart and Punk do nothing but constantly talk about how they are the best in the world and how they have been given the shaft and how what should be given to them is given to others, as opposed to DB and HBK who are ridiculed for their size and are told they can’t carry the business.

  • ortonheels

id would be crazy if bray wyatt beat supercena for thechampionship at the main event

  • BiggEZ

Damn Cena! Everyone knows that WrestleMania is all about who’s going to try to put an end to “The Streak”!

  • mikhailhoti

I have been watching wrestling from childhood myself. So me making that comment is true and i stand for it. Look at the 90ty, Bret hart was never the FACE of wwf, it was Hogan. DB is the Bret Hart of this era. Cena is the Hulk Hogan for this generation. He put everything in the professional wrestling today. Whether you love him or hate him, there is absolutely no denying that John Cena had been the face of the company for going 10 years. The crowds remain torn in their reception of the WWE Superstar. Half of the crowd, mainly the women and children, cheer excitedly for Cena; however, the other half, consisting of a majority of the male population of WWE fans boo loudly. While some may argue that Cena’s gimmick has gone on for way too long, I can see where the WWE is coming from. If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. Whether the haters like it or not, Cena SELLS TICKETS, t-shirts, and makes the WWE millions upon millions of dollars every single day. He’s the face of the WWE, because, for lack of a better term, he’s the “safe” pick. Its Wrestle mania, taking risks isnt that smart but im not saying they cant. Same reason Hulk Hogan main evented so many. We have seen Stone Cold Vs Rock a hundred times, but who complains. NO ONE. They had some of the greatest matches. So stop complaining about Cena and Orton. Vince knows what he is doing, or wwe wouldnt be where they are now. So stop complaining and acting smart. Sit back and enjoy wrestling for what it is. Like Fandango, people say he sucks and pointless. Those people can go rot. I see what Vince sees in him, he like the modern day Val Venis. Let me ask you something, When did Hulk Hogan in his wwf lay down for Junkyard Dog? and Junkyard Dog was Mid-wrestling LEGEND and world champion. So dont sit there and tell me im wrong and i dont know anything about wrestling. All this coming from a person who is not a Cena fan.

P.S It would elevate the group and make them more of a threat.

  • The Killswitch

You have to admit though, the fact that he put over Bryan is saying something. He also put over Punk during the “Pipe Bomb Era” (I know it’s not a real term, I’m just using it to define that time period). He does actually care about the young guns, as he also was behind Big E, among others. And that’s what I respect about him. As a wrestler, he doesn’t do much for many people. But he works well with just about anyone.

There’s the silver lining for it.

  • mikhailhoti

I know nothing? I probably know more than anything you know. Clearly shows that, im asking you guys to explain yourself and clearly no want is because they cant keep a argument.

  • Kristopher Robinson

    you obviously know nothing man.

  • Rob ‘Richard Hammond’ Picken

What a complete and utter joke! It’s the 30th anniversary and instead of potential 5 star matches we get more Cena and a geriatric nostalgic act

  • mikhailhoti

Do you know anything…. Your Saying Cena done nothing. Dude are you retarded?

  • Fang McFrost

I could support Hogan, Cena & Austin vs the Wyatt Family. Would bring in a lot of PPV buys. And also puts the Wyatts over and keeps Cena out of the Title match.

  • http://retrorevelations.blogspot.com/ Jesse Moak

    I’m sorry……….but you’ve GOT to be fucking kidding me….

  • mikhailhoti

Agreed. As much as i hate Cena. HE gets money and the job done. This wil elevate Bray to a new level and his cult will look much more dangerous.
