Former First Lady Melania Trump reportedly has her contingency plan in place should her husband, ex-President Donald Trump, end up behind bars amid various legal incidents via Irish Star.
Donald Trump is currently facing trial in one of four criminal procedures and the most notable being the hush money scandal related to adult film star Stormy Daniels, Melania seems to be creating some distance from the controversy.
The case centers on claims that Trump paid Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about a sexual encounter that happened before the 2016 election. If Trump is found guilty, the former president may face a prison term. However, Trump may end himself behind bars as a result of more than one case.
Trump is likely to be the Republican Party’s nominee in the 2024 presidential election despite facing around 100 felony criminal accusations, including over 30 counts of intentionally and recklessly retaining confidential information, a crime that frequently carries sentences of several years in prison. Despite her husband’s indictment in the hush money case, sources claim Melania is unfazed by Mr. Trump’s possible jail and is still upset about the affair.
Reports from People magazine suggest she has her own independent plans encompassing an eagerness to enjoy life, frequenting her favorite spots, regardless of her husband’s fate.
“Melania loves the beautiful weather and resort town atmosphere of Palm Beach, she is happy when she is in Palm Beach. She has her son and other close family members. They are tribe-like and usually stick together. Despite what happens to Donald, she will be fine. She is well taken care of,” a source said, reports the Mirror US.
