– As mentioned before, WWE officials are planning on keeping NXT 3 runner-up Naomi Knight around, despite losing. Officials are high on her because she is such a good athlete that she raises the bar for other women talents. It’s said that Naomi and season winner Kaitlyn will be pushed in different ways. WWE likes Kaitlyn as a personality but it’s no secret that her in-ring work will take some time to improve.
– Richie Steamboat was at one point planned to be the star of season 4 of NXT but obviously won’t even be appearing on the show. Other names from developmental who were expected to be involved with the next season were FCW Champion Mason Ryan, Seth Rollins, Jackson Andrews and Damien Sandow, formerly known as Idol Stevens. Rollins, the former Tyler Black, didn’t find out he would not be on the show until the last day when the announcement came out.
