– TNA officially announced today that MVP will not be able to face World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young at Sunday’s Slammiversary pay-per-view. MVP commented on Twitter:
“My knee injury is legit. I’m very disappointed by the timing of this injury and the unfortunate repercussions that accompany it.”
“Now to “business”. I’m still the Director of Wrestling Operations for TNA. AND…. “the board of directors” want a FAIR main event match!”
A replacement will be announced later.
