– Mr. Anderson became the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion at tonight’s Genesis pay-per-view, just minutes after he won the #1 contendership in a match against Matt Morgan.
After the contender’s match, Eric Bischoff came out and told Anderson he would have to wrestle again and use his World Title shot. Jeff Hardy came out and they wrestled for just over 10 minutes before Anderson won the match that saw interference from Bischoff, Matt Hardy and Rob Van Dam.
