News On The Big Show’s WWE Royal Rumble Status

As noted, Big Show announced during his appearance on a Miz TV segment on this week’s episode of RAW that he will be entering the Royal Rumble as “entrant number 1.”

However, WWE is indicating that Big Show will not be the number entrant in the match. WWE.com posted this teaser:

The Superstars who draw Nos. 1 and 2 begin the bout, and a new Superstar joins the fray every 90 seconds until all 30 Superstars have entered the ring. The only way to be eliminated is to be thrown over the top rope and to the outside, with both feet touching the floor.

The last man standing will not only be the 2016 Royal Rumble Match winner, but also the No. 1 Contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania.

Big Show became the first Superstar to declare his participation, officially entering himself in the Royal Rumble Match on the Dec. 28 edition of Raw. What other competitors will join The World’s Largest Athlete?

Bryan Alvarez mentioned on Tuesday afternoon that Big Show will not get the #1 spot in the match.

Royal Rumble takes place on January 24, 2016, at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. It will be the 29th event under the Royal Rumble chronology and the first WWE pay-per-view of 2016. This event will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets.
