– WWE has had 11 events in 2010 that drew more than 15,000 fans, down from 20 events that drew more than 15,000 in 2009. This the lowest number of events drawing higher than 15,000 since 2007.
– The December 29th SMASH wrestling show in Japan will see the top three main events be male vs. female. Former WWE star Tajiri, who owns the promotion, will face women’s wrestler Kana.
– Former WWE and ECW star Nunzio performed as a referee at last night’s WWE live event in New York City at Madison Square Garden. Nunzio, who lives in the area and was backstage visiting, was asked by officials to help out as Charles Robinson was the only other referee that made it to the show due to the weather.
