Preview for Tonight’s Monday Night War with WWE and TNA

– Tonight may be the biggest night in pro wrestling history in a decade as WWE’s Monday Night RAW will go head-to-head with TNA’s iMPACT.

 


 

TNA iMPACT will be a three-hour broadcast tonight that begins at 8PM with the debut of Hulk Hogan. Rumored names for tonight’s show include Scott Hall, Angelina Love, Sean Waltman, Ken Anderson, Rob Van Dam, Sid, Shannon Moore and Ric Flair. Out of those names, the ones most expected to appear are Scott Hall, Angelina Love and Sean Waltman. Matches confirmed for tonight’s iMPACT include Tara vs. ODB for the Knockouts Title, Steel Cage Asylum for Amazing Red’s X Division Title and Sarita & Taylor Wilde vs. Hamada & Awesome Kong for the Knockouts Tag Team Titles. Tonight will also see the debut of new backstage personality Bubba the Love Sponge.

RAW tonight be for two hours and will take place from the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio with the return of WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart as special guest host. The Hart Dynasty members Tyson Kidd, Natalya Neidhart and David Hart Smith are expected to take place in an angle with Bret. Matches confirmed for tonight’s show include Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston and DX vs. Chris Jericho & Big Show for the Unified Tag Team Titles. It’s also believed that the status of the WWE Divas Title will be determined tonight as injured Champion Melina is booked for RAW. It’s been rumored that she will drop the title to Maryse. John Cena isn’t scheduled to attend tonight’s RAW as he will be appearing at the Fiesta Bowl across the country.
