– Former WWE star Sho Funaki was at a recent New Japan Pro Wrestling show trying to get NJPW officials to check out his wrestling school in Texas so they can create a working relationship.
– A match or some kind of angle between The Miz and Bray Wyatt is expected to be added to Sunday’s WWE Hell In a Cell pay-per-view.
– Rey Mysterio was backstage at this week’s RAW in Memphis but obviously not used. He was still scheduled to return on the show as late as Monday afternoon. The idea was that since he won’t be wrestling for a few more weeks, they decided against putting him on TV for an interview.
