Shawn Michaels Discusses John Cena vs. The Rock Getting Personal

– WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels spoke with ESPN Radio (31:00 mark) to promote WrestleMania 28 and told the hosts that he has not been tempted to return to action.

Shawn also gave his thoughts on John Cena vs. The Rock getting personal:

“Sometimes I feel like the WWE has lost that in a lot of respects. John and Rock have brought back what somebody like me used to do on a regular basis back in the day. I think it’s refreshing. It’s good, it’s good for business, and good for them to bring out the best in each other. There’s nothing wrong with making it personal… that’s better business whether people like it or not.”

the person with the user name kamala’s foot has obvious retard issues.

Now it’s almost exactly the way that South Park episode portrayed WWE. Just standing in a ring, bumpin’ their gums.

True that HBK! but back then it was way more believable, more about actual wrestling, seeing whose the better man. now its just business, how well you trend on social networks and who is ‘better’ to win, not who actually should win on skill alone.

regardless of which era is better, i just miss good ol rassling! where men just went to the ring, did what they do best and that was that. now its style over substance.
