SmackDown 1000 beats Raw in viewership

Thanks to the continuous low ratings of Monday Night Raw and the special SmackDown 1000 episode, the Blue Brand of WWE was able to beat the Red Brand in terms of viewership this week.

This week’s SmackDown episode featuring Rey Mysterio vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and the Undertaker segment for the main event averaged 2.545 million viewers.

This is up 19.2% from last week’s episode of the show which featured the match between Randy Orton and Big Show in the main event and had drawn 2.135 million viewers.

In comparison, Raw which had the Shield vs. Dogs Of War match in the main event once more, drew 2.396 million viewers, which was up from last week’s 2.374 million viewers.

With SmackDown returning to its weekly programming next week, we can expect the numbers to drop and Raw to become the most watched WWE show once again.
