– Here are some details on the ECW storyline in TNA, coming out of Monday and Tuesday’s iMPACT tapings:
* The ECW side consists of Mick Foley, Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, Raven, Stevie Richards, Rhino, Brother Devon, Simon Diamond and Al Snow. Simon is currently a TNA agent as is Al Snow, who joined the ECW side. The idea is that the TNA agents are jumping to the ECW side. We know that Brother Ray is on the TNA side. Other former ECW names are expected to come in.
* Abyss seems to be on the TNA side but keeps referring to “they” and “them.”
* Dixie Carter is involved in the angle and will appear on TV for the next two weeks at least. Dixie cuts a promo that says she invited the ECW guys to TNA.
* Tommy Dreamer cuts a promo with Dixie on next week’s show and set the angle for Hard Justice. Dreamer put over the old ECW and said WWE’s One Night Stand in 2005 was supposed to be closure but Vince McMahon had to bring ECW back and ruin it. Dreamer said he knows now that TNA is the place to be. Dreamer, who was crying during the segment, asked Dixie to give everyone “one last night” and she agreed, but only if the ECW guys have “full control” of the pay-per-view. Dreamer said they were going to do it right so everyone remembers the original ECW how they should and not the way Vince McMahon left it. Hard Justice will be something similar to WWE’s One Night Stand pay-per-view in 2005 and involve gimmick matches.
