– USA Today had an article this weekend looking at the success of social networking website Tout, a company that WWE and other big names invested in months ago. Stephanie McMahon commented:
“Video expression is the next evolution from text. TV producers are so engaged because you can put the Touts anywhere and really drive traffic to our channels.”
– WWE has confirmed that John Cena’s Monday appearance on syndicated talks how “Live with Kelly & Michael” was pre-taped on Friday. Cena will be there to talk about WWE’s partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Cena also lets hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan test their skills as WWE Superstars by letting them cut promos and try out finishing moves.
Apparently there is also some sort of WrestleMania challenge between Cena and Strahan. Strahan and the New York Giants defeated Cena’s team the New England Patriots in the 2008 Super Bowl and that was discussed on the show.
Since the appearance was pre-taped, Cena won’t have to fly from New York to California on Monday for RAW. WWE posted the following photo:
