Michael Cole announced on Monday Night Raw that Randy Orton had been injured by The Wyatt Family, and he will not be teaming with Dean Ambrose this Sunday at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event.
Dave Meltzer mentioned on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that Orton has a dislocated shoulder. Thus the reason WWE pulled him from the HIAC PPV as well as the reason he did not work WWE’s tour of Mexico this past weekend.
Orton is scheduled to have an MRI soon. Orton has been working with an injury for some time now, and the shoulder eventually dislocated in the last week.
Orton has had a long history with shoulder injuries.
