ThunderStruck: WWE Elimination Chamber 2015

Kickoff Show: MizTV segment with Daniel Bryan

-MizTV is always entertaining for me, and I’m happy for the Miz having outside projects of WWE as he’s a very talented individual. With Daniel Bryan appearing, I’m not sure we’ll get the answers we are looking for regarding his health. I’m optimistic and would love to hear Daniel say that he’s been cleared to wrestle, but I’m also realistic and know that it’s unlikely to happen right away – if at all. Should be a compelling segment and I will absolutely be watching if time allows.

Neville vs Bo Dallas

-I wish people would stop crapping on Bo. I know I haven’t been a huge fan of his gimmick, but the dude has talent and makes a good heel. I’m expecting this one to be entertaining and fun, and I actually wouldn’t be surprised to see these two continue feuding beyond this one event. Neville wins here with the ‘altitude era’ just getting warmed up in 2015.

Divas Champion Nikki Bella vs Paige vs Naomi

-Nikki’s reign has been lackluster for me, but something in my gut tells me she’s going to hold onto the gold in this one. I’m very curious what sort of action we’re going to get for a triple threat match with these ladies, and I’m also hoping they get enough TIME to show us something unique.

Champion vs Champion: Kevin Owens vs John Cena

-I’ve been watching Owens since his ROH return in late 2011. This guy has the IT factor and has unlimited potential to be a mega-star. No, he’s not the typical mold of what WWE seems to desire in their stars, but he can cut entertain like no other and gives 110% when he’s in the ring. I don’t have a strong feeling one way or the other on the outcome of the match, but my official prediction is Owens winning via referee stoppage(ala Sami Zayn at TakeOver). Cena is all about making the midcard more important, and a quality contest with Owens is sure to be something special for fans who love a good match.

Tag Team Champions The New Day vs The Ascension vs The Prime Time Players vs Sin Cara and Kalisto vs Los Matadores vs Tyson Kidd and Cesaro

-Having a tag team match like this inside the Elimination Chamber is long overdue. I love WWE’s attempted emphasis on the tag team division now more than ever, and I’m expecting this to be AWESOME. For my prediction, I’m going outside the box and guessing that Rowan and Harper will beat down one team before the match and enter the chamber to win the gold. If I were WWE and I had those two in the obscure position that they’ve been planted, I would go out of my way to make them dominant tag team champions from now until the Usos return together. Rowan and Harper to win the titles is my official pick.

Intercontinental Championship Elimination Chamber: Sheamus vs Rusev vs Dolph Ziggler vs Ryback vs R-Truth vs King Barrett

-King Barrett is not getting the gold again, and I don’t want him to. I’d prefer to see Barrett end up challenging major players to get into the World Title picture. Ziggler’s not getting another title here either, as he’s won it several times already. I could see WWE giving it to Ryback, but their confidence in him as a big match guy seems to have dwindled. As for Rusev, we don’t even know if he’ll actually be in the match – I would replace Rusev with Neville if I were the guy in charge(or Daniel Bryan in a dream world). We also know R-Truth is just a filler, so the obvious winner here is Sheamus and his silly haircut. Newsflash Vince, this isn’t 1990!

WWE Champion Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose

-These two in the ring together is always special. They had a great match on Raw last year, two solid pay per view bouts at Summerslam and Hell in a Cell, and another great Raw match earlier this month. Want to know the best part about these two facing off AGAIN? They ALWAYS deliver something unique from what they’ve done before! This one could be match of the year quality with Ambrose just barely coming up short. Rollins retains but this will be an incredible story for all viewers.

Chamber matches are always good(to me). The card is stacked with talent(to me). I’m excited to see how this one unfolds!

Those are my predictions. I didn’t expect to have time to type them up, but here they are! Feel free to leave yours below. Thanks for reading!
