TNA Office Releases, Backstage Ric Flair News, Update on TNA Finances

– Regarding TNA’s financial status, it’s said that they are “in the black”, which means they have a positive net income, and are in no danger of shutting down. At the same time, there are concern about financial issues in the company.

The new TNA event sponsorship deal with Direct Auto Insurance is worth millions and obviously has helped the company a great deal.

– TNA made several main office releases over the weekend. One of those releases was the man responsible for bringing the company the multi-million dollar deal with Direct Auto Insurance.

– Most people were shocked to see Ric Flair arrive at last night’s TNA Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando. It was believed that Flair had been written off TV and that creative had nothing for him, especially after the recent troubles between Flair and company officials.

Flair will be rekindling his feud w/ Sting, not getting a shot at Angle.

Couldn’t car less about Flair since I don’t watch TNA much after Hogan/Bischoff came into the picture. What caught my eye was TNA firing the man who quite possibly saved them… Nice ungrateful bunch working at the company.

I would rather watch Flair/Angle then lawler/Miz any day of the week. I’ll b*tch about Flair’s title win if he gets the belt, but it’s not going to happen.

For the record both of these matches should never of happened.

no way he is taking the belt from kurt. i will belive it when i see it

Isn’t it a sad day when a man who should not even be wrestling has to still be the main guy holding the TNA title. I mean come on when it somebody new is going to hold the dam title. This is why nobody has any interest in watching TNA at this point because nothing good is happening.

Why were these people shocked to see Flair if all the reports before hand were that he would be there?
Are they saying that the dirt sheets know more than the people who work in TNA?

I can’t believe TNA is going to allow Ric Flair to defeat Kurt Freakin’ Angle for their main title. Sick and disgusting. Then I’m guessing they’ll have a main event of Ric Flair versus Hulk Hogan for the title at some random PPV. Sad.

Oldman River should just give it up. He is going to be one of those guys that both companies don’t want.
