We noted before that there were rumours of SmackDown Tag Team The Colons asking for their WWE release, although it appears that the duo is still WWE bound, at least for now.
According to Pwinsider, The Colons are scheduled to be a part of SmackDown House shows this weekend and as of now; they are still part of the line-up for the Live Events.
While this doesn’t necessarily mean that there is no truth in the speculations of the duo requesting a release, it shows that as of now they are still with WWE.
Though considering the fact that WWE has been using Primo and Epico in filler matches for a while now and they do not appear to have a solid creative direction, it’s still possible that the SmackDown stars might be looking to get out of their WWE contracts.
