Update On Daniel Bryan’s Status With WWE

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan was backstage at the WWE NXT Takeover: The End event on Wednesday in Winter Park, Florida, according to Pwinsider.com.  Bryan was visiting friends and caught up with EVOLVE’s Gabe Sapolsky, who was also at the event. Bryan watched the majority of the show from the gorilla position backstage with WWE agents.

Bryan retired earlier this year due to WWE not medically clearing him after he suffered multiple concussions.

Bryan will be featured on the new E! reality series “Total Bellas” this fall.

Well you did ask, if he’s free to wrestle for another organization lol. He’s stated quite a few times that he’d like to become a road agent/trainer. I don’t think his contract is up and I personally doubt he’d leave. I doubt he’d make anywhere near, the money he’d make staying with the WWE. But who knows.

We know that, but what I asked was what is his status with WWE? Unless he’s still under contract, he’s free to do or go where he wants.

And then the question arises, what happens after his contract expires? Does he move into training, road manager etc.?

  • Kristopher Robinson

Due to the severity of his injury, I highly doubt he’d wrestle anywhere. To much of a liability.

He better not come back, if he did, i’ll flip the middle finger at him on the tv screen and change the channel

Is he still under contract with WWE? Is he free to wrestle for another organization?
