Woman Upset After Del Rio Tears Up Sign, Writes Angry Letter

– Shelly Ehler recently won the reality TV show Shark Tank but is now lashing out against WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio. Ehler took her 8 year old son to a WWE live event in Anaheim, California over the weekend and is upset after Del Rio ripped up the kids sign for Sheamus, who was facing Del Rio that night.

Ehler told TMZ that her son was terrified by Del Rio’s actions and instantly burst into tears. Ehler called Del Rio a bully. According to Ehler, she told Del Rio that he made her son cry and he mocked the kid in response.

After Ehler’s son cried all the way home, she vented her frustrations to WWE Superstars on Twitter and then wrote an angry letter to WWE officials. In the letter she says, “Take signs from adults NOT KIDS! My son was bullied by your superstars and it is not okay.”

Ehler claims that Ricardo Rodriguez mocked her on Twitter but Sheamus offered to send her son a signed photo and meet with him the next time he’s in town.

TMZ posted the following video:

Damn people! The child was 8yrs old for Christ sake! A professional wrestler playing a heel can be terrifying to an 8yr old kid. DelRio shoud have picked an adult or made arrangements with the child and his mom before the show started. Mocking him afterward was just a slap in the face. I gaurantee that if it was any of the dumbasses on heres child they would be singing a different tune.

Shameus showed he is a class act. Superstars like DelRio should be taking notes.

That’s like the next best thing to getting something autographed, getting it totally destroyed!

  • Shawn O B

maybe the kid made the sign with his mom and wanted to keep it to commemorate that night with his mom. thats a possibility. dislike away a- hole.

  • Chris

They did the same routine in London,ON Canada

  • Austin

I mean, yeah, but if you were putting up a jewish flag in Hitler’s face, what are you expecting?

If a wrestler took my sign and ripped it, it would be an honor it truely would i would have that story forever right now the kid is crying because he’s a whiny spoiled brat but when he gets old that’s gonna be a cool story to tell some parents are too overprotective and need to lighten up.

Posters at Walmart don’t cost 25 cents. What planet do you live on @sym?

  • SYM

In all Honestly its a Cardboard sign. The fact that the lady couldn’t get a 25 cent Poster from Walmart is comical. Almost as comical as this being relevant on a Wrestling Website.

I’m surprised no one has commented on the weak tearing job by Del Rio. Yeah he tore a bit of the corner off, what a shame.
But seriously, the mom and kid need to nut up.

I recently went to a smackdown live event and Del Rio did the same. But in exchange, Sheamus gave him his wrist bands and after the match, he carried him into the ring had a HUGE pop from the crowd. The kid cried too, but not after all that! He was lucky! I’m surprised he didn’t get picked up or anything…or the lady is just making it a bigger deal than it is and is just getting 15 min of fame…stupid bitches…

  • The Dude

Heels for a long time have been takeing signs that support his opponent and rip them off. This is maybe why WWE should only target to little clueless kids with an idiot mom. Get over there is more imporant problems going on than some litte kid getting his sign riped. He shouldn’t be crying anyway he has front seats to a WWE event. Kids need to learn to apreciate what they got

  • Huh?

How does she have the sense to win Shark Tank, but not enough to realize that this is entertainment and that Del Rio has an evil, hateful character to create and portray?

  • Justin sane

    they’re the bad guys…

  • cc

Jesus christ, no wonder the kid is a crybaby when his mother is such a whiny cunt. Having signs taken off you and torn up has been part of wrestling for god knows how long, whether it be at massive WWE shows or small indy shows. Anyone who cant deal with that has no place being in a wrestling audience.
It still makes me cringe when I see people on here who are supposed to be smart wrestling fans comparing heel actions with Be a star, like its the real deal. Be a star is a reality thing aimed at kids who bully other kids. WWE is acting, and relies on bullying otherwise you dont have heels.

Seems like this lady wants to extend her 15mins. Of fame by any means

  • JohnM

She should tell her son to stop being a A little bitch and man up.

  • LighTsouT

Exaggeration much? My son would love for a WWE superstar to take his sign, it’d just give him more of a reason to boo. He’s 7.

  • DocBrown

That Be A Star campaign is working out just great for the wwe… Props to Sheamus!
