Welcome to the WWE Raw pre-show, and we are live on the WWE Network. There was a tribute video package for Muhammad Ali shown. Scott Stanford, Booker T, Corey Graves, and David Otunga hype what we will see tonight, which is The New Day wrestling The Club in a six-man tag team match. Big Cass and Enzo Amore vs. The Vaudevillians will also be taking place on RAW.
Welcome to WWE Monday Night Raw. The show opens with Kevin Owens, Dean Ambrose, Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio, Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho standing on ladders in the ring to start the show. Owens vowed that he would beat them all and win the MITB briefcase. Zayn said that he will fight anyone once he becomes WWE Champion. Ambrose joked that he would fight anyone and that includes polar bears. Ambrose just wants a fight. Del Rio said that Zayn will never be WWE Champion and is just a paper boy. Jericho brought up that the MITB ladder match was his idea. Jericho told the fans to drink in the fight of Jericho. Ambrose punches Jericho and a brawl broke out. Teddy Long walks out and said he is back to take SmackDown back to higher levels. Jericho reminded him that he doesn’t work here anymore. Long said if he was GM then he would make so many different matches. Stephanie McMahon walked out and said that anything that Long said didn’t make sense. Teddy said that he wants to run SmackDown again. Stephanie said that WWE has yet to make a decision on the SD GM. Teddy asked where Shane McMahon was at. Stephanie said that Shane isn’t here tonight and is on vacation. Stephanie told him to get to stepping. Stephanie booked Zayn vs. Del Rio, Ambrose vs. Owens, and Cesaro vs. Jericho tonight.

Singles Match: Cesaro vs. Chris Jericho.
Cesaro worked over Jericho’s arm and hit a backbreaker. Cesaro sent him to the floor and hit an outside dive. Cesaro sent him into the barricade and hit an uppercut. Jericho hit a drop kick for 2.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back with Cesaro hitting an uppercut to Jericho. Jericho rolled him up for 2. Jericho hit a codebreaker out of nowhere and Cesaro rolled to the floor. Back in the ring, Jericho covered him for 2. Cesaro slapped him and hit a superplex off the middle rope. Jericho caught him with a kick for 2. Cesaro popped up and nailed a clothesline then went for a roll up but Jericho blocked and went for the Walls of Jericho. Cesaro battled out of it and hit the Giant Swing. Cesaro locked in the Sharpshooter for the win.
Winner: Cesaro.

There was a video package to hype the Seth Rollins – Roman Reigns match at MITB.
Singles Match: Jack Swagger vs. Rusev with Titus O’Neil on commentary.
Rusev beat him down in the corner with strikes. Swagger fought back and hit a shoulder block for 2. Swagger locked in an ankle lock but Rusev rolled out of the ring. They hit a double clothesline on the floor. Rusev sent Swagger into O’Neil. This led to O’Neil hitting a big boot to Rusev. Rusev retreated and O’Neil stood tall in the ring.
Winner via, DQ: Rusev.
-Commercial Break-
John Cena comes down to the ring and cuts a promo about last week’s segment with himself and AJ Styles where the fans were chanting the two stars’ names. Cena said that he has only had that moment with one other man and that was with The Rock. Cena said that this match is a dream match and has been in the making 15 years. Cena wants to know why Styles took the easy way out. This led to Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows along with AJ Styles walking out to the stage. Styles said that even of his best day, Cena can’t beat him. Styles believes he would run circles around Cena. Cena thinks he thought Styles would say something better and not what other people say. Cena said that Styles didn’t do anything at the Royal Rumble and failed at getting the WWE Title. Cena said that Styles is starting to second-guess himself and is a bust. Cena said Styles is desperate and that Styles doesn’t know who he is dealing with. Styles said that he is not desperate because he can go back to japan if he wanted too. Styles said he has nothing to prove or to lose and he is dangerous. Styles said that Cena buries guys like him and Anderson and Gallows are here to make sure, that doesn’t happen. Styles said that Cena has no idea who he is dealing with. Styles and The Club surround the ring until New Day hits the ring. The seven men have a staredown.

Tag Team Match: Big Cass and Enzo Amore vs. The Vaudevillians
Enzo and English started things off. They exchanged right hands before Big Cass and Gotch were tagged in. Cass hit a series of, slams then an elbow drop for 2 as English broke it up. English hit a big boot to Amore and sent him to the floor. Cass attacked English and hit a big boot to Gotch. The match ends in a no contest.

Teddy Long wants Stephanie to do something big with Enzo and Big Cass. Stephanie asked how he got in the backstage arena. Long said that money will make you go holla holla. Stephanie asked him to leave. Stephanie booked The Vaudevillians vs. The Club vs. Big Cass and Enzo Amore vs. New Day for the Tag Team Titles at MITB PPV.
Singles Match: Sami Zayn vs. Alberto Del Rio
Del Rio sent him to the floor and then Zayn hit a dive off the barricade to take out Del Rio.

We’re back with Del Rio in control of Zayn. Del Rio went for his finisher and hit it for the win.
Winner: Del Rio.

Owens told Ambrose that he will destroy him at MITB PPV.

Singles Match: Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens.
They start brawling to begin the match. Ambrose went for his finisher but Owens kicked him in the head for 2. Owens hit a super kick for 2. Ambrose fought back with a clothesline, went to the top rope but was knocked down by Owens. Owens followed up with a cannonball for 2. Owens hit Ambrose with a splash off the apron. Back in the ring, Ambrose hit his finisher for the win.
Winner: Ambrose.

Charlotte and Dana Brooke walk down to the ring. Charlotte said that she still wants to be her best friend but as a professional relationship goes, it’s dead. She says that she can still be the best champion she can be without Ric Flair. Natalya and Becky Lynch walk down to the ring. Charlotte said that Natalya should have her own reality show about her troubled family. Lynch and Charlotte warn Brooke that Charlotte might turn on her too. This led to a big brawl.

Singles Match: R-Truth vs. Tyler Breeze.
Truth landed a series of right hands then started dancing. Goldust and Fandango started to brawl and the match was called off.
Teddy Long walks out and makes it a tag team match. Security walks out and walks him to the back. Stephanie told Long to get out of the building. He does.

Six-Man Tag Team Match: New Day vs. The Club.
The match starts with a big brawl. Styles hit the Styles Clash to Woods, and we cut to break.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back with Big E in control of Anderson as he hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Gallows hit a big boot to him. Back in the ring, Gallows was tagged in and hit a splash in the corner. Anderson was tagged in and missed a back splash. Styles and Kingston were tagged in. Kofi hit a clothesline and then a leg drop. Things broke down in the ring. Kofi took out Gallows and styles hit a spring arm forearm shot for the win.
Winners: The Club.
Post-match, The Club attacked New Day until Cena ran down to make the save. Styles knocked him down and landed a series of strikes. Kofi took out Styles with a drop kick. Big E hit the Big Ending to Anderson and Cena hit the AA to Gallows. Cena and New Day stood tall in the ring to close the show.
