Sami Zayn makes his way to the ring to address the fans.

Sami returns to the ring and he wants to talk about what the title belt means. He says in the hands of anyone else, this means that you are the best. In his hands, it means something entirely different. It means you can do it your way. It means you don’t have to listen to what they say you have to be. You don’t have to listen to what they say you have to do. You just have to do it better than anyone else and the proof is right here.

He says this is the cheesy part. He says that he has to get it off his chest. He says the title is not ‘mine’. It is ‘ours’. He says he is not just a wrestler. He is not just a WWE Superstar. He is in a band. That band is Sami Zayn and the Zayniacs. Everyone plays an instrument. They make the music that makes the whole world sing.

He says Takeover should have been the best night of his life. It was, but it did not end the way he wanted it to. It ended with Kevin Owens coming out here, sweating and crying and bleeding. Hugging him in the ring. It was a moment. It was 100 percent real. He killed it. Kevin hurt him. Sami tells Kevin he hurt him, but he did not end him. He is right here and he is back.

Sami says he has the belt with him and he is ready to defend it any time and any where.

They tore each other to pieces and gave their best. On that night, Sami was the better man. He says that he saw a new Sami, Sami the champion. Adrian congratulates Sami and shakes his hand.
