Home » WWE News » WWE Reportedly Contacts Celebs for WM, Miz Commentary, Vader

- Former World Heavyweight Champion Vader is now on Facebook at facebook.com/BigVanVaderLeonWhite. He is taking as many bookings as he can with matches, signings and conventions. They noted on the page that he continues to train almost everyday and this December will be celebrating 25 years of wrestling in Japan. Vader has several US independent wrestling appearances booked this year and it was noted that his Mastadon mask just arrived from Japan so he will be wearing it during those US appearances.

– WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz will do commentary for this week’s episode of Saturday Morning Slam with Josh Mathews, at least during the Santino Marella vs. Heath Slater match. Santino returned to commentary after his match. It’s interesting that WWE put Miz back on commentary because there was a negative reaction to his commentary work at RAW on Monday.

– We noted recently that boxer Floyd Mayweather said during a Hot 97 interview that he would be returning to WWE at next year’s WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view in New Jersey. A WWE source reports that Mayweather wasn’t just running his mouth as officials have reached out to him, Mr. T, Pete Rose, Jenny McCarthy and other former WrestleMania celebrities about appearing next year.

  • Rocky sucks

Miz is sure not better than booker t at the booth that’s 100.% a fact

  • DEE1ANDONLY

the miz was pretty solid on commentary bt @scooter ya r 100% rite he was paying attention to the matches n dat apparently is a no no but wat they should do is try this lil formula out have a superstar manager etc past or present work the booth each week keep thangs fresh or better yet just add william regal or matt striker n get it over wit #imjustsayin

  • paul

i rather have miz commentate then ANY other commentator on the red and blue brands

  • Bill

I’d love to see Miz have a markout line like “That was AWESOME!” or something if he ever returned to the booth.

  • Tombstone

oh @Dave dont worry your gay faggot ass, Tombstone will get him, whether its now, tomorrow after ballet class, or on the eve of WM, Tombstone with his bro Studog will get Pete rose got.

  • Eve’s left nipple

Jenny McCarthy still looks fine as hell, But she best not take up alot of Wrestlemania time.

  • Dave

I see another Tombstone in Pete Roses future.

  • DFlo

I enjoyed him on commentary much more than Jerry Lawler. As soon as he sat down and said “Commentary just got Awesome,” I was into it. I know it’s a subjective opinion, but I don’t really see what the problem is.

  • pulgeezy

    U take that back jaime5150
    What da hell!!!
    Instant classic

  • Jaime5150

    Defintely better then Booker T

  • Gary

I literally shit myself when miz said he was the best ever. You can’t joke about that little michael. You miz butt lovers will finally understand that all he has is his natural annoyance he was born with. He can’t play the face if his life depended on it. That is why he plays the annoying guy. He works very hard I’ll give him that but he over sells and has stupid facial expressions when he talks, it makes him look like a little bitch that can’t be put up top with the elite.

  • http://google the dude

Id take miz over mike adamle any day just saying he really wasn’t that bad

  • scooter

Miz was pretty good but I can see why they didn’t like him he was actually paying attention to the match instead of just telling stories and hyping the main event.

  • Chad

Miz was horrible at the desk and has no baby face potential! I’d put my house on it. Even if it’s the size of Vickie’s tight little ass.

  • Sammo

Pete Rose? I’d rather see Pete Gas…

  • Dave

I found the whole Michael Cole and Miz on commentary a bit odd.
They couldn’t seem to work out who was supposed to be the face commentator and who was supposed to be playing the heel. It definitely showed that Miz has babyface potential though.
