– Bray Wyatt opens the show with Erick Rowan and Bray says that he did not fall to Dolph Ziggler last week. Dean Ambrose comes out to interrupt and tells Bray to get off of his podium because SmackDown belongs to the people and the WWE Champ. Bray Wyatt tells Ambrose to come up so he can whisper in his ear.
Ambrose says he’s not dumb enough to walk into a two on one ambush. Dolph Ziggler’s music hits and he hits the ring hard going after Wyatt. Bray and Erick beat Ziggler down causing Ambrose to get involved for the save. The Wyatts revert their attention to Ambrose and beat him down, but Ambrose comes back and tosses Rowan out of the ring. As he turns around Bray locks up Ambrose for a Sister Abigail but Ziggler comes in with a Super Kick for the save, but hits Ambrose instead.Â
Ziggler screams at Bray, ‘What did you do?!’, and Super Kicks Rowan who re-enters the ring. As he turns around Ziggler eats a Sister Abagail and Bray celebrates as we go to break.
– Backstage after the break Ambrose runs into Dolph and Dean says he owes him one now. Ziggler says there is no time like the present and in comes Daniel Bryan to break it up. Bryan says the two men will have to save it for SummerSlam and have to learn to work together, because they will team up against The Wyatts tonight.
– American Alpha def. a couple of jobbers and after the match The Ascension, The Vaudevillains, and The Hype Bro’s engage in an all out brawl.
– Alexa Bliss def. Becky Lynch. Eva Marie was out to take on Lynch at first, however, Marie retreated citing a ‘wardrobe malfunction’, opening the door for Bliss to step up to the plate.
– Randy Orton vs Alberto Del Rio ends in a DQ after Del Rio hit Orton with a chair. Orton would reverse it up into an RKO on Del Rio on the chair and celebrate as we go to break
