WWE SmackDown Rating, TE’s Jeremiah Discusses His Future, More News

– WWE Tough Enough contestant Jeremiah Riggs, who was eliminated last night, was interviewed by a local ABC affiliate in Mississippi today and seems to think that Andy will have a hard time beating Luke in next Monday’s finale. Regarding his future in wrestling, he said:

“I really look at having a future in this business. I think my ability, my personality — I’m an entertainer. I think that I can excel at anything I do. I never would have dreamed in a million years that I would be where I am now. The people I’ve met, the fan base. I love interacting with the fans. I love interacting with new people. I can take lots of things from it. Being a part of something like that.”

– WWE’s shop website has released new muscle shirts for The Miz, John Cena, Steve Austin, The Rock and Randy Orton in time for the summer, as well as new Superstar themed swim trunks.

– It looks like the RAW rating from last night will be delayed due to the Memorial Day holiday.

– This past Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown scored a 1.83 cable rating, down a bit from the previous week’s 1.89 rating. The show averaged 2.8 million viewers, down from the previous week’s 2.9 million viewers.
