WWE thinks NJPW star will sign with company

Wrestle Kingdom 13 was a historic event and was a true turning point for New Japan Pro Wrestling. Every title was on the line and this might have been the last we see of a couple of stars there.

Yujiro Kushida lost his IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship at the event as well. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Kushida, where he said that WWE thinks that Kushida will sign with the company soon enough.

“I think the big question everyone has is what does that have to do with Kushida. WWE’s strong after Kushida and they seem to think that he’s coming. So we’ll find out if he signs or he doesn’t sign.”

Perhaps WWE sees something in Kushida that will make him a big superstar in the company. However, it is still too early to tell and is pure speculation at this point. For all we know, Kushida might just stay with NJPW and not sign with WWE. So we will have to wait and see what happens.
